After two SOLD OUT events this year, Astral People, V Movement, FBi Click and THUMP present the third and final line-up for SUMMER DANCE 2017 on Sunday March 26 th at The National Art School. The series of outdoor parties at the height of summer has conquered Sydney, offering the perfect Sunday afternoon escape into a global musical movement. Curated by local tastemakers and touring agency Astral People, the final event in this year's series takes the event to its roots - celebrating and welcoming the sounds of legendary producers spanning house, disco and soul, and championing up-and-coming local artists and DJs.

Born in '70s Chicago, Deep house maestro Glenn Underground draws influence from the city's rich musical history, being exposed to everything from Soul and Disco to Freeform Jazz. His own sound echoes original Chicago pioneers Larry Heard, Lil' Louis and Ron Hardy and his work provides a strong reference point for the scene, with seminal releases on Cajual, Prescription Guidance, Peacefrog, Dance Mania, alongside his own imprint - Strictly Jaz Unit. This prolific career has set the standard for sophisticated dance music, earning him the reputation as one of the few DJ's who can walk the line between deep jazz house, disco influenced house, and the kind of classics featured at the legendary parties of late 70&'s Chicago.

Releasing his debut album to critical acclaim last year on the taste-making label of Four Tet's own Text, Anthony Naples is set to turn heads at SUMMER DANCE with his brand of upfront grooving house and plenty of bold, swinging percussion. Labeled as 'one to watch' by the likes of FACT,Fader and Pitchfork, this Florida born artist grew up on Miami bass, only graduating to different realms of electronic music after moving to New York. There he discovered a passion for producing music that has catapulted him from a Brooklyn loft party regular to a producer whose music regularly soundtracks them.

The DJs behind Melbourne's summer party scene know their way around a dance floor. Pocock and Mark kicked off their club night DAYDREAMS in 2013, a (now) weekly Sunday party which has grown into a world of its own.Not to be upstaged by the talent they host, Pocock and Mark themselves have turned in some of the most memorable sets at Daydreams and countless other events and stages, the likes of Sugar Mountain, Misty Nights and Lost Weekend.

Meaning 'Disco Ball' in Japanese Mira Boru is sure to create a dance floor in her wake. A fresh-faced Sydney selector she brings a host of rare cuts of afro, disco and funk to heavier house and balearic techno that have each Thursday Sunset on FBI Radio grooving.
