Clouds & Cream - psychotic pop or sinister surf dub? That is the ultimate question. With their previous single (and title track off the forthcoming album), Caress Your Soul, still charging and charting all around the world, Sticky Fingers are keen get back on the tour-train again and, to celebrate the release of their new single, they are hitting The Gov's stage this January.

Clouds & Cream, is the second single to drop from Sticky Fingers' forthcoming debut album, Caress Your Soul - out March 2013 through MGM - and is their second 'break up' song, drawn from sticky break up experiences.  Well, one of the Sticky break ups,  and we say one of, because all four of the band members experienced break ups in the past year. Ouch!

Not ones to shy away from the spotlight, Sticky Fingers are quite comfortable sharing their personal stories with their fans, as they know better than most, these types of experiences are relatable for most people. It's for this reason that Sticky are calling them psychotic, surf, dub, love songs.

Personal relationships aside, touring actually works well for Sticky Fingers, it gives an otherwise rowdy bunch of misfits structure, so, touring? Yes, they're doing it! The Clouds and Cream Tour will make a short jet down the East Coast in January but it's their appearance here at The Gov, Jan 11 that has us excited..

After a stack of shows sold out on their last tour - Made For It - which coincided with the release of single Caress Your Soul, you'll want to grab your tickets quickly!

They sold out in Melbourne at the Workers, in WA at the Indi, also in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. 650 people jumped up and down in the Standard, wreaking a trampoline-like havoc on a wooden floor that at times, threatened to buckle.  Here it's described by the Drummedia review:
"Sticky Fingers took the stage and the room nearly broke. Their brand of reggae/rock turned the crowd from respectable 18- to 25-year-olds to a dangerous mass of young heartbreak that very nearly collapsed the floor as the PA shook and shuttered, turning the mosh into a hardwood trampoline."

So come on down to The Gov, January 11 and get rowdy with the boys from Sticky Fingers!
