Our favourite songwriting genius, the man who defined an era of music with his band PAVEMENT, Stephen Malkmus, and his band the Jicks are very pleased to announce a bunch of dates which will add Hobart to their 2015 Australian tour.

Hot on the heels of announcements on prestigious arts and music events next February and March including PERTH INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL, GOLDEN PLAINS and MELBOURNE ZOO TWILIGHTS, our favourite songwriting genius, the man who defined an era of music with his band PAVEMENT, Stephen Malkmus, and his band the Jicks are very pleased to announce a bunch of club dates which will add Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane, Wollongong and Sydney to their 2015 Australian tour.

As always, the work of Malkmus is consistently and casually brilliant and the most recent album WIG OUT AT JAGBAGS is no exception - playful, intelligent indie rock/pop music with a lyrical sophistication and depth that is unmatched in modern music. For an artist to be so effortlessly cool and so reliably excellent across such an extensive body of work is a treat to behold and utterly refreshing in a world where viral things wrongly get all the attention. In the world of Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks quality and music actually prevail which is great for all of us.
