Over the last decade Missy Higgins has become one of our most beloved singer/songwriters. Her first three albums, The Sound of White, On a Clear Night and The Ol' Razzle Dazzle, have sold more than a million copies. They've each gone to #1 on the Australian charts and each has also been recognised with ARIA Awards.

In September 2014, Missy released her fourth studio album OZ, an eclectic mix of Aussie cover versions also accompanied by a quirky book of related essays. The album received rave reviews on release and in the accompanying OZ book, Missy uses each of the recordings as the starting point for a sprawling series of essays; reflecting on life, love, music and much more.

Following her mammoth year in 2015, Montaigne will appear at Spectrum Now Festival's closing night in support of Missy Higgins. Recently releasing the first offering from her upcoming debut record, In The Dark, and appearing on Hilltop Hood's hit single 1955, Montaigne will bring her distinct vocals and quirky, percussion-heavy live performance to the Big Top stage. Montaigne was nominated for the 2015 NSW Voice of the Year in the AU Review's Live Music Awards.

The Big Top concert series is a licensed, all ages (16+ recommended) event. Spectrum Now Festival recommends parents/guardians should consider whether the Big Top concert is appropriate for their child and recommends that any children under 16 years of age who attend the Big Top are accompanied by their parent or guardian. Persons who are 18 years of age or older and wish to purchase alcohol MUST have valid photo ID (passport, Australian driver's license, proof of age card). Spectrum Now Festival @ The Domain welcomes and caterers for all ages, is family friendly and free to attend outside of the ticketed Big Top events.

The Sydney Morning Herald Spectrum Now Festival presented by ANZ is Sydney's newest cultural festival, returning in March 2016 for its second year. The festival is set to entertain and amaze, with free and ticketed events across art, music, stage and talks, including a limited capacity Big Top venue installed in Sydney's Domain to house 11 nights of music and comedy.
