Equal parts fabulous and fearsome, The Mamas have been disciplining and nurturing audiences around Melbourne for the past two years, becoming known for their sequin-studded shows and their knack for toeing the line between hard-hitting social commentary and outrageous comedy. If their debut EP ‘Juicy’ is anything to go by, you can expect alarming sensuality, disarming humour, timeless melodies, four part harmonies, and good, old fashioned maternal wisdom. Emerging pop queen MAXON is an artist from Melbourne, currently shaking audiences across the state with her trademark vocal and boundless song-writing talents.

The past couple of years has been an incredible journey, having performed alongside Australian favourites, Jamie MacDowell and Tom Thum, Tim Ayre, Gretta Ray and Ella Hooper (MOTH IWD show), Eilish Gilligan, Angie McMahon, Kylie Auldist and Wendy Matthews.MAXON has been involved in showcasing the Mornington Peninsula’s finest in the Music Crawl, LivenLocal with Hachiku, St Kilda Festival 18’ and two packed shows with the latest incarnation of the If You See Her Say Hello choir.

Her recent single ‘History’ is an undeniably powerful pop/rock masterpiece lamenting the ideas of a guaranteed love now proven to be condition. It is the reflection of a period of cyclic grieving and is highly symbolic of a dream and a journey well worth the time and tears.
