King Tide, Sons of The East, Gambirra and Golden Orb come together in what will be an epic and soulful night to benefit the first blockade of a coal mine in Australia’s history! Whitehaven Coal is ripping the guts out of the Leard State Forest in NSW’s North West, and rather than leave a gaping big hole, we want more soul!

Get ready for a soul shake down with Aria award nominees King Tide! Australia's' premier original Rock Steady Reggae gut soul band. King Tide have be touring since 2009 making appearances at major festivals up and down the East Coast and around the country. 

Sons of the East are a 3 piece indie-folk band who have an original blend of keys, guitar, banjo and vocal harmonies. Formed in mid 2011, they have quickly grown a following. Unearthed by Triple J before they released a single track, Sons of the East are fast becoming one of Sydney's premier new acts.

Gambirra will be sure to allure you with her powerful and unique fusion of Soulful Progressive Roots, Funk & Dub. With her roots deep in Yolngu country of Australia's Arnhem Land. Newcastle based songstress is a close relation to other well known Yolngu artists i.e. Yothu Yindi and Gurrumul Yunupingu.

Golden Orb Sydney based two-piece band whose sounds have been described as "apocalyptic, hillbilly, folk"! playing a blend of banjos, guitars, cajon and an appalachian dulcimer just to name a few, Golden Orb create deep and rich sounds and wonderfully crafted melodies for audiences. You are sure to be seduced by the experimental sounds and looping layers that capture the normalities and abnormalities of each instrument and sounds they create.

Prepare to be moved by what will be a soulful and enchanting night to get your hair down and me moved by soul, not coal!
