SONIDO launches onto the Sydney music scene on Saturday 21st July at the Civic Underground on Pitt Street. The Civic, highly regarded as a premier boutique venue boasts one of Australia's finest sound systems in intimate surroundings. SONIDO has big plans for this 300 capacity venue introducing some of the best and reputable Australian and international talent from around the globe pioneering the latest electronic sounds. 

Sonido's first instalment welcomes Sydney legend Simon Caldwell. Simon has played the scene since the early nineties, gracing the decks and lighting up dance floors around the world with his eclectic and unique sound and style. He has shared the stage with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Dave Clarke and even Daft Punk. Simon hosts his own show on FBI Radio and was recently invited by John Digweed to guest on the infamous Transitions show on Kiss FM. Tonight, Simon will be taking the reigns and headlining this event with an extended peak time slot not to be missed. 

Also joining Simon Caldwell for the launch party is Mitch Crosher (Sydney) and the resident djs Tom Harwood (London), Ryan Kenna (Sydney) and Andy Myatt (Manchester).
