Slum Sociable are excited to announce a national tour in support of their self titled, debut album, out Friday November 24. The band's biggest shows to date will see them take in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane & Hobart.

Slum Sociable have also shared introspective new song 'Castle' - listen here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqTZGsHAgzc)

Born from a university assignment four years ago, the project began with a chance coupling of two individuals with an obsession for sound. Slum Sociable first ignited public interest with the release of their debut EP, TQ and since then, the Melbourne duo have performed across Australia, showcased at New York's CMJ, Brighton's Great Escape Festival and completed subsequent European tours alongside festival slots at Laneway and Splendour In The Grass.

Combining Upchurch's soaring vocals and personal lyricism with Quinn's jazz electronica inspired arrangements, this formidable clutch of songs come to life with a maturity envisioned with the help and persistence of esteemed local producer Russell Fawcus.

The self-titled offering incorporates a mixture of dusty songs that were scooped from the floor and given fresh life, and a collection of new tracks that were laid down at writing sessions in London with Rich Cooper (Mystery Jets) and Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, Hot Chip, Yeasayer). The end product is a tribute to Fawcus' belief and the band's toil at his North Melbourne studio.

The long-awaited full length is a brazen proposition: an ambitious but confident musical statement of genuine human connection and 'holy shit' listening moments.

Its been a whirlwind three years for Slum Sociable, come see them cap it off in style.
