SLOW WAVES END FIVE YEAR HIATUS TO PLAY REUNION SHOW

Bluesy garage rock trio SLOW WAVES announces today that they will play their first live show in over five years this summer.

Fixtures of the Sydney and Wollongong live music scenes from 2009-11, the band once known as 'Paper Moon' will end their hiatus and reunite for an exclusive headline show. At the height of their powers, the band supported The Preatures in their original spelling and Tame Impala before they exploded, along with a diverse range of local and international acts including Owl Eyes, Ernest Ellis and Jeffrey Lewis.

With the band now split between hemispheres, SLOW WAVES have seized the rare opportunity to revisit their ragged, blues-driven catalogue of DIY and self-released material. SLOW WAVES, with special guest Nothing Rhymes With David, will be performing live at RAD Bar, Wollongong on 4 January 2017.
