Since forming in 2014, Slim Jeffries have turned heads on Melbourne’s underground scene with their unique fusion of pub rock, hip hop and punk. Fresh off the release of their debut LP and follow up single ‘Bad Behaviour’, the 6-piece will be bringing the ruckus up the Hume to Sydney for the first time ever on Saturday 3rd June at Oxford Arts Factory.
Having established themselves in Australia's southern states as provocative purveyors of politically-driven punk with their acclaimed eponymous LP, Slim Jeffries are primed for the mission up the East Coast with their newest single, 'Bad Behaviour,' a pub-punk anthem that draws upon influences of Australiana rock and roll, themes of gentrification and the stresses of renting. Performing alongside newly formed psychedelic rock outfit, Sofala (Melb) and up coming Northern Beaches ratbags, The Dolphin Show and Crocodylus, this night is a guaranteed headbanger for anybody looking to get something of their chest.
