Unquestionably the buzz band and indie phenomenon of 2010, Sleigh Bells have been tearing up the path to success and living up to every word of hype bestowed upon them from critics and fans. The irrepressible duo will perform two exclusive headline shows this coming January, much to the delight of fans in Melbourne and Sydney.

Amidst numerous attempts to classify their sound, one thing is for sure Sleigh Bells are unabashedly, irresistibly loud. Producer Derek Millers synth-heavy beats and pounding riffs are undeniable, complemented and perfectly off-set by Alexis Krauss melodic chants to form a sound that is genre-less; a melting pot of music that is distinctively Sleigh Bells.

The release of debut album Treats, which featured singles Tell Em and Rill Rill, earned the Brooklyn duo a place on the mantelpiece of the hottest music publications across the globe and on many a listeners list of 2010 highlights.

Mixing angelic vocals with grinding synths and scorched bass, it's a body-shaker that sounds like a choir girl showing up to a street fight with a howitzer and a holster full of lasers. Danceable lasers. Rolling Stone

The intense, beat-bruising Sleigh Bells live show is not to be missed. -  Pitchfork

A Sleigh Bells show is anything but your standard concert experienceFrom the moment Miller and singer Alexis Krauss step onstage, they go into high gear and don't let up until the crowd is fried and frazzled. Spinner.com

It is rough, and savage, and completely rock and roll Sleigh Bells are right here, right now, and every song sounds like an invitation to the coolest, loosest party in town. FasterLouder

Its no secret; their live performances truly set them apart and Melbournes Prince Bandroom and The Forum in Sydney will only amplify the chaos.

Sleigh Bells explosive headline show will also feature a DJ set from Vampire Weekends Chris Baio and sets from infamous indie party-starters the Purple Sneakers DJs.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Frontier Touring Company announces the withdrawal of Seekae from Sleigh Bells line-up, however Melbourne band Rat Vs Possum have stepped in to fill the support spot. Rat Vs Possum are no average band; their extraordinary blend of experimental electro pop that references genres as diverse as electronic music, 70s German psychedelia and African tribal rhythms has gained them a cult following and their live presence is as exciting and unpredictable as their music.

Tickets will be available to Frontier Members from 12 noon AEDT, Tuesday 12 October to 12 noon AEDT, Wednesday 13 October. General on sale from 9am local time, Friday 15 October. Dont get left behind, Sleigh Bells wait for no one.
