SINS OF MY FATHER (PECADOS DE MI PADRE)Nicols Entel 2009 92min Documentary COLOMBIA Spanish / English
What would life be like if your father was Pablo Escobar?
This is the incredible story of Pablo Escobar, the infamous boss of Colombias Medellin drug cartel as told by his son, Sebastian. Speaking for the first time about his father, Sebastian tells of his extraordinary childhood, growing up with a father he loved but whom he knew to be Colombias public enemy number one. He tells of times of luxury and extravagance, and times on the run, as he opens up the familys home movie archive. This is also the story of two of Escobars most prominent victims, the then-Minister of Justice and a presidential hopeful, these men were just two among hundreds that Escobar had killed in the 1980s. The film follows Sebastian as he tries to break the cycle of revenge and assassination by seeking reconciliation with the sons of his fathers victims.
