Single Twin is the cinematic, acoustic project for ex-Deloris frontman Marcus Teague. Recorded and mixed at home on Garageband over a five year period, the forthcoming debut record from Single Twin is a compelling, oddball, late night excursion into the realms of surreal domesticity. Having DIY released an EP in December '09, first track 'Came Home Dead' has found it's way on to radio playlists the nation over, drawing comparisons to the likes of Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith and Sparklehorse.

Known for his complex narratives and obtuse songwriting, Teague's solo work has invariably been praised as the work of "one of this city's finest songwriters" by Beat magazine, with The Big Issue saying "Australia has found a poet laureate for its dreams. It makes me feel my heart in my chest." This appearance will be only Single Twin's third show as a five piece band. Teagues work whether with his band Deloris or with his more stark and tender solo guise is often marked by something lost, something just out of the frame, which his songs somehow manage to capture in their frozen tableaux. - Mess+Noise.
