Melbourne Music Week & Singhala Music present Singhala Music's Melbourne Music Revue

Singhala Music are swinging into The Residence for an ol' fashioned Tuesday night lockdown, with eight of Victoria's best bands and a staggering visual display.

Exploring audio geometry and creating a three dimensional visual space, the Robin Fox Laser Show will envelop you with synchronised sound and light. Creating a synthetic what-you-hear-is-what-you-see experience, as sonic vibration is converted into laser light movement.

10 years of music making has seen Dan Kelly produce a raft of records, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with many a Melbourne musician. Performing here with his seven piece Dream Band, Kelly will deliver a mixture of north coast nasal folk jams and Australian themed Kraut boogies, interjected with his legendary funny narrative.

The night will also see seven-headed garage psychedelic collective King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard take to the stage with their dreamy, dense, sitar and Theremin-laced sounds, alongside Melbourne's brooding and understated heartbreakers, Harmony. Singhala also presents mesmerising dance party doyens The Murlocs, psychedelic pop chameleons Baptism of Uzi, vintage 60s rockers The Frowning Clouds, and a special collaborative performance by Fraser A Gorman & Courtney Barnett.
