On the night of Elvis Presley's 78th birthday, celebrate with SHE IS THE KING.
Jacqueline Feilich, aka She is The King, is the only woman ever to be selected by Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc to enter the worldwide search for The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist in its inaugural 2007 Contest in Elvis' birthplace - Tupelo, Mississippi USA.
She is the only female Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) to have had the honour of performing 'LIVE' at Graceland Crossing in Memphis, Tennessee during Elvis Week 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2012 in commemoration of the anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing.
"Jacqueline is the most unique Elvis Tribute Artist in the world and not just because she's female. It's because she's female and does her own interpretation, using her 'own' voice, which accurately and convincingly channels that of Elvis Presley's.
"She is striking. She brings her own style to the established style making the sight of her a memorable experience. Tailored to fit her totally original image, she stands out as a class act and has the distinction of being the first female Elvis Tribute Artist to truly do this. There is no Elvis wig and glue on sideburns. Instead Jacqueline sports a hip jet black modern rock and roll mane that says "see this person" in the dictionary of style. All complimented with shades, jewelry and accessories that remind her of her love for Elvis, thus creating a more personal affiliation to channel her music
And what about that music? "Her singles "Edge of Reality", "Viva Las Vegas" and "I Got A Feelin' In My Body" bring us Elvis like we've never heard before. Her renditions of these songs and many tracks on her debut album "Comeback" are the most unique interpretations of Presley classics ever done in the ETA world. She sings with a raw emotional power that would cripple any contemporary in comparison.
She has energy on stage and on record and people in general (not just Elvis fans) always take notice of that." Steven B. Roberts - DISCOVERING ELVIS
For one night only, join She Is The King as she takes over The Basement, with her band The Memphis Flash in tow.
