Senses Fail
Senses Fail have come a long way since their formative years and this is no more evident through their latest record “Renancer.” Undoubtedly and intentionally their heaviest work to date the band aimed to redefine their sound and ultimately themselves which they did to the delight of fans and critics alike.
The band came together in the early 2000's and soon went on to help define the post-hardcore scene that was coming together around them. They found themselves not only in this band, but forming a community of the creative around them. More recently they encountered changes, just like those that are a part of every day life, which became the starting point for their "rebirth." After the departure of key member, Zablocki, Matt Smith (Strike Anywhere) took over the reigns the band took to a more collaborative approach, to almost everything, including songwriting.
They changed the space, they changed the dynamic, the changed producers and even dabbled in Spanish as a tribute to their fans and ultimately stand before crowds today reengerised, faster, harder and heavier than they've ever been before. Senses Fail will hit Australian shores at the beginning of August for a run of dates bringing their heavier sound and more vigorous outlook to punters for a short time early.
