Sculpture Children - sculptural painting 5+ (tue): autumn 2017
Fun 1 day workshop for kids inspired by the works of Rosalie Gascoigne.
12 April 2017 9am - 5pm
In this playful and colourful workshop with artist Jane Caveney kids will learn about assemblage-a process using found discarded objects and rearranging into abstract compositions.
Looking at the beautiful contemporary landscape assemblages of Australian artist Rosalie Gascoigne they will spend an industrious day creating compositions constructed from everyday objects.
Kids will learn disrupted patterns, positive and negative space, repetition and colour creating dynamic constructions to take home.
All materials are provided
Suitable for children 5-8 years old
Maximum 10 children
Bring: Lunch, morning and afternoon tea and a water bottle
Wear: Old clothes
