A raspy voice and honest lyrics combined with upbeat pop /rock melodies; Sarah Bird leaves her listeners with dancing feet and a heart full of feeling.

Jamming along to Mute Math and City and Colour while growing up with likes of The Pretenders and Karen Carpenter, has influenced Sarah's new level of sound that cannot quite be compared to any like artists.

This multi-National Award winning song writer and performer does things her own way, creating interesting unconventional guitar tunings which has taken this stand out musician into a league of her own. Now living ocean-side in Sydney, Bird finds inspiration from the water and the waves, but her new album, "Break or Bend," still undoubtedly exposes the strong roots of this small-town Glen Innes girl more than ever. Recorded and produced in the lounge room of her co-guitarist, Andrew Herft, parent's house, Sarah Bird is very excited to be releasing an album, which is truly her own.
