"When you're constantly traveling back and forth between the opposite ends of the world, you can end up feeling like you're stuck somewhere in between..." At least, that's how it feels for the twin sisters of Saint Lou Lou. Ask them where they call home and they'll most likely answer with a shrug. And it’s this feeling; an aching of displacement and the eternal search for belonging, which informs every aspect of their lives and music.

Bouncing between the long cold winters of Stockholm, Sweden and the happy-go-lucky beaches of Sydney, Australia -  it's no wonder there's a striking contrast infusing their sound. The years of dislocation and adaptation lends a world weary knowingness which seeps into their voices, not what you might typically expect from two girls hardly released from the gates of high school.
After uploading a demo of their song "Maybe You" online in the Spring of 2012, it quickly picked up the ears of acclaimed French label Kitsun , who not long afterwards signed the single to the label.

With a few select live appearances set for 2012 including Sweden's POPAGANDA festival and a debut show in London, it's looks like the twins sisters may have a place they call home in Saint Lou Lou...
