Runaway Weekend are an Australian alternative rock band from Adelaide, formed in early 2015. The band have come from vastly different musical backgrounds, spanning from musical theatre to metal. Their refreshing take on classic rock, pop and R&B is mesmerising and infectious. After slingshotting into the Australian music scene off the back of their debut single '2 A.M.' they snagged supports with the likes of east coast bands Chase Atlantic (Warner Music), Little Sea (Sony Australia) and With Confidence (Hopeless Records) as well as UK band As It Is (Fearless Records). With the release of their debut EP 'D j Vu', Runaway Weekend hit the road for their first headline tour in July 2016, bringing their new, more mature sound to new audiences across the country. 3

After a notable support slot with ASTA and with lead single 'Deja Vu' hitting 150,000 combined streams, Runaway Weekend are currently back in the studio recording the much anticipated follow up to their first EP, with release set for mid 2017.
