RICK PRICE 

Australian Singer/songwriter, Rick Price has walked the journey many musicians dreams are made of. From the very beginning, as a nine year old and the youngest member of his family's band. Music was Price's Passion. Since those humble yet defining days, set amongst the backdrop of country Queensland. The self taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning more than three decades.

Price has been nominated for and received numerous music industry awards including the prestigious APRA Song Of The Year award for his song "Heaven Knows" and the Export Music Australia award for his outstanding achievements abroad.

Rick's returned to his musical roots with 'The Water's Edge' which was released in September 2011. This showcased new influences and a broader style for Price. While there were still echoes of a great pop artist, country rhythm and blues meld beautifully with folk sounds to create an album that transcends genre. Rick has toured this album extensively for the last few years and broken new ground with audiences and concert halls all over the globe.

In Australia , Asia and the U.S. Rick has branched out into the festival market. Performing at the 'Gympie Muster', 'Queensland Festival', 'Guthrie Green Festival' (USA) 'Wingham Akoostic Festival', 'Sydney Blues Festival','Bridgetown Blues Festival', and returned for a second time to the 'Thredbo Blues Festival' in 2015. Standing ovations and major conversions to the Rick Price new sound happen every time he performs. New fans all over the world are commenting on Rick's amazing voice and soulful songs. He is clearly the consummate solo performer.
