Picking up a guitar at the age of nine and with a career spanning more than 14 years, Ray Beadle is one of Australia’s most acclaimed and gifted guitarists, possessing a voice resplendent with soul and rich with life experience.

On his impressive resume - a three month residency at BB Kings Club, Memphis, winner of the 2007 Sydney Blues Challenge, Sydney representative in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, three Australian Blues Music Awards, awards for Best Male Vocalist, Best Album (Loaded), Best Song (Somebody Let Me Down), a showcase at the 2012 East Coat Music Awards, and a performance at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto

Most recently in 2012, Ray headlined the Blues Caravan Tour (May 2012) with Matt Andersen (Canada) and Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges (USA) and joined Henry Wagons as the Australian participants in this years AUSCAN program at the 2012 APRA Song Summit.

Ray was also a feature artist at the 2012 Adelaide International Guitar Festival, and one of the Headliners at the 2012 Sydney Blues & Roots Festival along with Ian Moss, Charlie Musselwhite (USA), Lanie Lane and Mia Dyson

Late in 2012 Ray came out swinging with Ray Beadle & The Hightones, a change of pace, paying homage to the west coast jump blues style of America in the 50s & 60s, joining the sultry Canadian chanteuse Jill Barber for a sold out east coast tour   Finishing off a highly successful 2012, Ray recorded a double live album at the Bridge Hotel and several appearances at The Woodford Folk Festival.

Next on the agenda, Ray will be spending all of 2013 writing for his next studio album and doing what he dose best, PLAY LIVE.
