PRINTMAKING - LINO PRINT: INVESTIGATING NATURE (12-17yrs)
PRINT STUDIO, 64 Pine St Chippendale

Date: Tues 4 October
9am - 5pm
Tutor: Susan Baran
Learn the art of Lino Print in this fun workshop that explores the Australian landscape and elements of natural environment such as native leaves, plants, seed pods & flowers. We will create designs inspired by famous Australian printmakers such as Margaret Preston and contemporary Lino Print artist, Deborah Klein. You will compose your own designs onto Lino block, cut the lino block and then print to card & art paper. You can then hand colour designs with watercolour and ink and learn an introduction to reduction printing - a unique way to add layers of colour & dimension. An excellent day for young people who want to learn a new creative skill!

Class size: 10
BYO lunch, all attendees must wear closed toe shoes.
Venue drop off & pick up: 64 Pine St Chippendale
