Following on from a sell out performance in early 2016, Pony Face will be showcasing new material from their forthcoming, highly anticipated fifth album as well as rarities and favourites off their first three releases Hypnotised, Stars are Bright and Bearded little Girls.

2015 saw Pony Face play several sold out shows, Festivals, complete a fifth new studio album, as well as produce a film documenting arguably the most inconceivable project they've ever done ...Pony Face presents Nebraska.

Their sound is unique and kaleidoscopic, encompassing psych/surf guitars, hypnotic heavy drums, bass lines moulded from rock bottom and sampled textural layers which have become synonymous with a mesmerising spacial sound. Pony Face will be accompanied on the night by long time producer Casey Rice on guitar.

Blissful and brooding, Pony Face take listeners on an aural journey that links the crystalline intimacy of Sparklehorse, the dark rock noir of Rowland S Howard and the uniquely Australian feel of Dirty Three.

The groove is in the spaces in between. They allow the music to breathe with possibilities, their supple songs insinuate themselves into the mind, their playing fuses them with the imagination. They are so much more than the sum of their three parts.
