Got duende? Peña Flamenca do. This hot new 7-piece flamenco nuevo ensemble has been captivating audiences around Australia with their original antipodean blend of Andalucian and Latin traditions with an Aussie twist, creating a unique fiesta.

Peña Flamenca fuse Spanish, Colombian and Australian traditions to create an original, locally-fused interpretation of this powerful art form. They have just finished a packed, two-year residency at Sydney's iconic Spanish Club, where they where they discovered a shared drive for creating flamenco frenzied dance floors and regularly played to full houses. The group hails from a mix of musical backgrounds, from latin to funk to jazz, giving a breath of fresh air to the local flamenco scene. In 2013 brings a busy schedule for Peña Flamenca including shows at the Vanguard, Camelot Lounge, Manly Fig, and La Sala, Adelaide Fringe Festival for the second year in a row and shows at Riverside Theatre.

Peña Flamenca is led by Christopher Duff on guitar and features singer Angela Rosero, dancer Chachy Pe alver, Byron Mark on percussion, Tom Burns Brown on bass, Keyna Wilkins on flute and Trevor Brown on saxophones.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
