APRA Nominee Paul Greene’s three and a half octave voice, catchy melodies, witty lyrics and unique arrangements make him one of Australia’s most exciting musical prospects. His music is a magnificent concoction of soul, folk, pop, roots and rock which he delivers all by his lonesome, with only a battery of well worn guitars, a stomp-box and a belt full of harmonicas for company. Discovered by Midnight Oil's Rob Hirst, Greene has built a loyal and enthusiastic following via a never ending journey through Australia's version of the old Southern American chitlin' circuit: a variety of well-trodden bars, clubs, pubs, town halls and small theatres in small country towns and regional centres, as well as established music venues in capital cities. he's joined at The Toff by Carter Rollins and Jed Rowe.
