Papa G and The Starcats and That Gold Street Sound are bringin' the heat to The Toff on Saturday the 24th of September with a double headline gig. Combining luscious soul and heavy funk, these bands are sure to get you hot under the collar and boogieing down. After a string of residencies at The Toff and the newly renovated Night Cat over the past few months, Papa G and The Starcats are proud to return with new music. It's their first headline gig since April, when they launched their single "Figure You Out", recorded with Jake Mason from Cookin' On 3 Burners. That Gold Street Sound are coming off a string of amazing appearances, including PBS FM's Soul A Go-Go in June and their single launch at the Northcote Social Club for 'Revive Me' in March. They were also recently announced on the amazing Strawberry Fields festival line up.
