The view of the New Year's Eve fireworks in Sydney's eastern suburbs is spectacular. The relaxed atmosphere at Nielsen Park in Vaucluse makes it a great spot in Sydney Harbour National Park to count down to 2018 with friends and family.

Bring a picnic to share with friends and family, including responsible amounts of alcohol. Roll out a blanket on the grass and welcome in 2018 as you watch the magnificent fireworks light up Sydney's night sky.

The viewing area is on Steele Point Rd in Nielsen Park. Entry is off Vaucluse Rd, next to Strickland House. B.Y.O. alcohol and food, picnic blanket. No food available to purchase.
