The renowned desert-blues chanteuse, Noura Mint Seymali, comes from a line of at least 21 generations of visionary storytellers and musicians.  Her debut album, Tzenni, vibrates with transcendental grooves and impassioned vocals, and her stunning 2016 follow-up, Arbina, firmly put Mauritania on the musical map.  While Noura's music is steeped in the history of Moorish griot traditions, she is blazing her own path and reimagining these old sounds with her revolutionary combination of powerful devotional singing accompanied by ardin harp, bass, drums and some truly psychedelic, distorted electric guitar riffs.

On the night the ever-talented Simon Winkler, music coordinator and presenter on Triple R FM (Breaking And Entering) will be sharing his glorious music taste, slinging tunes that evoke good vibrations to set the scene for the expansive musical performance to follow.
