Event Details

Since being unearthed by triple j back in 2010 and a new year's eve set that was widely regarded a highlight at the Falls Festival in Lorne, Northeast Party House wasted no time, kicking off 2012 with a national co-headline tour in February.

The six-piece dance rock band from Melbourne hit the road with fellow triple j Unearthed graduates Millions (Bris) & Nantes (Syd) for the Triple Treat Tour, picking up new fans and glowing reviews in a month full of stage dives, strobe lights, injuries and mermaid costumes.

Following on from their debut EP which delivered the tracks Embezzler and Empires, Northeast Party House abandoned their makeshift studio in Melbourne's outer eastern Dandenong Ranges in favour of an inner city location to start the writing/recording process. Produced by the bands drummer Malcolm Besley, 'Pascal Cavalier' is the first offering to come from the recent sessions. Featuring a synth heavy chorus propelled by dual vocal hooks, the new track is custom built for sweaty club shows, dance floors and festival stages alike.

The single will be available for purchase digitally on iTunes through Stop Start on Friday July 13. To celebrate the release the band have handpicked an absurd list of support acts to join them on a run of east coast dates which are set to be their biggest headlines shows to date.
