Next level coding: Python programming for 8-12 year olds

Every Wednesday, 2 - 30 August

4.00pm  - 5.30pm @ Surry Hills Library

Designed for competent users of MIT Scratch - take your skills to the next level. This 5 week course with CODE4FUN will introduce you to the more complex language of Python. Leave the 'drag and drop' environment behind and jump into coding that can carry you into robotics, web applications and more.

Stretch yourself beyond the teaching languages of Scratch or Logo with this versatile language that you can both begin with and grow into. Learn coding principles such as functions, syntax and coding logic. The best part is that we'll support you in building your own project.

Each week we'll help you extend your skills and learn to troubleshoot. Equipment and laptops are provided and Python is also compatible with our Edison Robots, so you can learn to program them too.

CODE4FUN
