Neil Murray brought contemporary indigenous music to mainstream listening with Warumpi Band and is best known as the writer behind Australia's unofficial anthem, 'My Island Home'. Neil has been recognised with the country's highest song writing accolade, the APRA award. His current solo album Bring Thunder and Rain see's the blend of roots, rock, folk and country to form a distinct Australian theme.

Matt Walker has rightly earned a global reputation for his creative talents, touring alongside renowned icons Bob Dylan, Archie Roach, Tex Perkins, Renee Geyer, Broderick Smith and Nick Cave over the years. Matt is an authentic songwriter, guitarist and producer who has been credited on countless albums and film scores. Matt is an ARIA award winner and has been described by guitar maestro, Jeff Lang as, "an incredible instrumentalist with a soulful (individual) singing style of a Neil Young or Richard Thompson."

This unique collaboration of local icons will see the exploration of quintessential Australian songwriting and musical culture. Murray and Walker will perform solo then come together on stage for a night of music that is striking in its cultural familiarity, vibrant and truly meaningful.
