The distinctive sound of Sydney outfit Nantes was firmly established throughout 2011 after the band delivered an acclaimed debut EP and toured relentlessly throughout the country. Now, after an onslaught of successes over the last twelve months, the band are announcing the release of their latest single Unsatisfy, an accompanying video clip and the Satisfy the Unsatisfied Tour for June.

Drawing from the legacy of UK and US post-punk with an alternative edge, their 2011 debut provided standout singles Fly and Charlie, both of which received an outstanding response from local and international critics alike.  A wealth of tour opportunities ensued around the country, with triple j Unearthed hand selecting the group to play Sydneys Parklife. Nantes also graced festival stages at Peats Ridge, Pyramid and Big Day Out with support performances for Does It Offend You Yeah?, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Manchester Orchestra.

2012 has already been an eventful year for the tour-hardened band.  After teaming up with Millions and Northeast Party House for The Triple Treat Tour in February, Nantes recently joined Ball Park Music as main support on the largely sold-out 180 Tour throughout March and April.

Returning to the studio with Sydney producer/engineer Simon Todkill, Nantes have now delivered their latest single Unsatisfy, a track covered with dense rhythmic motives and another strong, soaring chorus - a distinctive trademark of the band. Eager to share their mesmeric and blistering live show to more audiences around the country, the Satisfy the Unsatisfied Tour will kick off in Melbourne on June 15.  Alongside the new single, Nantes will be showcasing new tracks currently being recorded for their forthcoming debut album.
