Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazlewood Experience return to Melbourne at The Spotted Mallard on Saturday, November 24 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the classic album Nancy & Lee.

Nancy Sinatra's singing career was going nowhere when someone introduced her to Duane Eddy's writer/producer Lee Hazlewood - he played her his tune "These Boots Are Made For Walking", told her to "sing like a 16-year-old who goes out with 45-year-old truckers," (that's the clean version) and it became a worldwide hit.

When it finally came time for Nancy to do a duet, she would have no one but her producer, gravelly baritone Lee, thus giving birth to one of pop's oddest and finest 'Beauty And The Beast' pairings - and so followed a string of hits single-handedly creating a genre variously dubbed "saccharine underground" and "cowboy psychedelia".

Now, the Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazlewood Experience explores this unique musical pairing and the gems from their respective solo careers, in a tribute that camply goes where no band has gone before.

Fronted by renowned stage, film and television actor Zoe Carides as Nancy, Scott Holmes as Lee and backed by the Nancy Boys they re-imagine the Sixties through the eyes of the iconic and culty Nancy & Lee.

These Boots are Made for Walking, Jackson, Summer Wine, You Only Live Twice, Sugar Town, Lightning's Girl, Something Stupid, Bang Bang, Up, Up & Away, the trippy Some Velvet Morning - the Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazlewood Experience play them all and many, many more.
