After a rip-start launch into 2017 with another sold out Old Mates Block Party, The Lockhearts are hitting up their old stomping grounds/favourite Wollongong venue to help celebrate the launch of their favourite new mates' My Echo's banger debut album, Brothers. 

The bands met one hazy night at Frankie's in Sydney and clicked instantly over conspiracy theories, horrible horrible Jagermeister and a mutual appreciation for Big Dog Jordan's collection of black denim cut-offs. After a little bar talk (pillow talk?) and a year in the works they've finally locked in a show together and preparing their bodies for the subsequent party.

Last year saw The Lockhearts sign an earth-wide record deal, sending them headfirst into a journey of intrigue and conspiracy to uncover the truth of a flat earth. Questioning everything NASA had ever told them, the band holed themselves up in the studio for 6 months to write and record, emerging with their debut album (to be released 2017), an unyeilding itch to get back on stage and hit the road with spanking new tracks, and the birth of a mercurial new sound 'Americana Doom Fuzz'.

Red hot off their back of their tour supporting Kingswood, My Echo are launching their long awaited and highly anticipated debut album Brothers. Brothers is testament to friends sticking by each other. It's something the band consider themselves very lucky to have been able to do. If single 'Meet You There', which rocketed up the triple j Unearthed charts to claim the #1 spot in it's first week, is any guide to the rest of album, this one is going to make waves.
