To celebrate the release of their 4th album ‘Organico’, 14 piece Latin Big Band Mucho Mambo returns to The Basement with a huge celebration of Cuban Big Band music.

Featuring some of Sydney's best musicians, Mucho Mambo's unique sound blends bold, brassy riffs and driving percussion with tight arrangements and cool old style Mambo, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Conga, and Bolero grooves.

The Mucho Mambo experience is one of a kind in the music world, an authentic and timeless Latin Big Band whose rhythms will make you hit the dance floor from the opening beat.

The new album is the culmination of 15 years performing live and developing an original sound based on dynamic and world class big band arrangements from the golden era of Latin and Jazz and reinventing them with a unique edge.

Following amazing sell out shows throughout Sydney since their first performance at the Basement in 2002, Mucho Mambo will showcase the new album with their brilliant musicianship and funky visual element.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).
