It wasn't too long ago that Perth's Make Them Suffer released their debut album Neverbloom on Roadrunner Records to rave reviews. Now they are set to take it on the road for an armful of shows to showcase tracks from the album and their previously released EP Lord of Woe.
Killyourstereo.com said Neverbloom is 'bold and ambitious' and it is 'dense in sound and solid in structure' while SputnikMusic.com said Neverbloom is an 'intriguing listen,' and it is filled to the brim with 'amazing, haunting, heavy and memorable moments from beginning to end.'
Joining Make Them Suffer them all the way from San Diego for their first time in Australia is In Fear And Faith.
Despite the plethora of music hailing from southern California, In Fear And Faith have proven themselves worthy of attention. After putting out 2 full lengths and selling over 46,000 records total the band returns with their self-titled album, which is appropriately named as it is a representative of everything the band has become over the past 5 years. The brutal heavy parts and soaring choruses will serve the band well in the area where they are most well known - their live shows. Just finished up a litany of tours this past year, these San Diego natives are ready to prove once more their reputation as a force to be reckoned with will remain constant and true.
Another Perth band who are making their own mark on the melodic/hardcore scene is Saviour who, after doing their own thing independently worked hard enough to gain the attention of labels and at the start of this year released their album 'Once We Were Lions' through Skull and Bones Records which perfectly blends harmony and dissonance into 13 unforgettable tracks.
Last year, Blunt Magazine dubbed Make Them Suffer one of their top 25 bands to watch in 2012 so don't miss your chance before the year is out.
