MoolooaBaBQ Festival 

The mooloolaBaBQ festival is a community event on Australia Day Weekend, Saturday 28th January, at the Mooloolaba Wharf precinct from 10am - 8pm, embracing everything that people in the multi-cultural Australian community love about the great Australian family & friends activity... the BBQ.

To celebrate this Aussie love of firing up the barbie, we have brought together a bbq event for all the senses to incorporate a wide variety of cultures, styles of cooking, flavours & cuts. From Seafood to Pork to Beef to Lamb, whether Chard, Grill, Smoked, Roasted, On a Spit or marinated... this is sure to have something to tempt all tastes.

The mooloolaBaBQ festival will be hosting a National Championship Series Barbecue Competition in conjunction with the Australasian Barbecue Alliance where Australia's best teams will be invited to compete for Championship Points & $6,000 Cash & Prizes.

Along with this there will be food trucks & tents offering Texas BBQ Lamb/Pork/Beef Ribs, Sliders, Chip babs, German Sausages, Food market stalls with Pickles and Meat rubs, Craft beer, Celebrity guests & demonstrations, Live Entertainment , Jumping castle, Petting Zoo, Face painting & Fireworks. This is a charity event to raise money for the Cancer Council with only a $15 entry fee & kids under 5 are free. The mooloolaBaBQ festival will definitely make your Australia Day weekend sizzle!
