Event Details

Formed in April 2016, Moaning Lisa operate somewhere between composed restraint and fuzzed-out, life-affirming alternative rock, taking cues from the likes of Wolf Alice and Pixies.

Coming off a NLMA nomination and three singles in their first nine months as a band (including BMA Magazine's song of the year, 'Comfortable'), Moaning Lisa are set to release their debut EP in early 2017. They back it all up with a masterful, raucus live show that won them 2016's National Campus Band Competition and sees them consistently pack out venues in their hometown.

The Last Exposure are a four piece indie/alternative rock band from Sydney and Wollongong. Playing shows since 2015 they have had the pleasure of supporting artists such as CAMP COPE, Cayetana, Columbus and Hands Like Houses just to name a few, as well as travelling to Canberra to play with headliner Moaning Lisa.

2016 saw TLE release two singles and play some sick shows. This year they are taking to writing, making friends and seeing shows, looking after themselves and each other, as well as playing the occasional show and hopefully putting things in place for their next release.

We hope you enjoy their loud and sassy sound and performance.

Since their debut at Subpars Festival at the end of 2016, Goodnight Japan has already been filling some of Sydney's top venues with their post-punk-meets-bedroom-pop sound. Mixing elements of Yo La Tengo, Life Without Buildings, Pavement and Joy Division, they've played with SEIMS, Dying Adolescence, Cosmic Flanders, Sketch Jets, Billy and Suburban Girl.

The Bleeding Gums is a 3 piece garage band from Sydney. They play bad rock.
