Since Mike Stern days with Blood, Sweat & Tears in the mid-70s, followed by stints with Billy Cobham, Michael Brecker in the 80s and his amazing work with the legendary Miles Davis, Mike has used his jazz roots as a base to explore rock, swing, funk, blues and world music.

With a solo career spanning nearly 30 years, the six-time Grammy nominee and recipient of Guitar Player magazine's Certified Legend Award for 2012 is not afraid to bring numerous styles and ideas - however diverse - into the same place just to see what happens, moving between straight-ahead jazz and rock fusion with consummate skill.
