Champion Event Group is back with a brand-new band, a new singers and an electrifying dedication to 80’s Funk & Soul. Midas Touch is here and will take place at Sydney’s premier live music venue, The Basement on Friday 9th February 2017 from 7:30pm.

This show will pay tribute to best Funk and Soul music of the 80's with two hours of unforgettable and infectious hits to be delivered by Sydney's finest including power vocalist Alphamama and the incomparable Berni Love.

Born to play Andro (Guitar & Synth), Dauno (Bass / Bass Synth), and Fenix (AUX / Keys) Martinez hailing from the prestigious musical Martinez Family (Martinez Akustica) will deliver the music on the night. Joining them on drums and lead vocals is brother Buddy Siolo, whose talents have taken him around the globe. Together forming the Gang of Brothers they are a musical sensation.

Directed by Sydney's most respected musician, singer and Musical Director Darryl Beaton (Keys) this show is set to blow the roof off The Basement.

You will hear all the classics including: "Midas Touch", "I Feel For You", "Never Too Much", "Caribbean Queen" and more.

Plus, Sydney's number one old school DJ Nasser T will be on board to keep you grooving all night long to the best music Soul, Funk, R & B music of the 70's, 80's & 90's.
