The Melbourne Tea Festival is back for a one-day celebration of speciality loose leaf tea, held in the heart of the city. Both dedicated tea lovers and the tea curious will discover something new!

Tea Market
Spend the day wandering around a tea market that features dozens of specialty and artisan tea stalls, from the local to the global. Discover teas and tisanes of all kinds from all over the world as you explore stalls with your porcelain tea tasting cup in hand. Talk to tea purveyors direct and learn more about tea varieties and brewing. Pick up some hand-made tea ware and indulge in delicious sweet or savoury treat. There's also a Brew Lounge where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea and tea ceremony performances throughout the day.

Tea Tasting Cup
Sample tea from different stallholders all day with a take home porcelain tasting cup. One cup is included with each entry ticket (valued at $5.00).

Tea Workshops
Immerse yourself in the finer details of tea with some of Australia's leading specialists as they host educational talks, tastings, demonstrations and hands-on sessions. Workshops cover a range of topics, such as tea blending, tastings and ceremonies and have limited capacity so pick up a ticket before they sell out.

3. Bowl Tea - Daily Tea Ritual Workshop - 1.30pm - 2.30pm

LOCATION
The festival is located at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Doors 1 and 2, at 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf, Victoria (opposite Crown Casino).

GETTING THERE
Public transport is recommended but there is on site parking. More details are here.

TICKET INFO
Each entry ticket includes a $5.00 take home porcelain tasting cup.
Door sale tickets purchased at the venue on the day are $20.50 + credit card fees.
Kids under 12 are free, they do not require a ticket.
Workshop tickets do not include entry into the festival. These must be purchased separately.
