Since its formation in 1967 The Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra has thrilled and entertained audiences throughout Australia, Europe and Asia. The 23-piece orchestra perform a repertoire spanning several centuries and styles ranging from Renaissance to contemporary compositions including popular Italian songs; Mari Mari, Funiculli Funiculla, Arriverderci Roma and works by Witt, Wolki, Ambrosius and a selection of Italian Arias with soloist, soprano Charlotte Betts-Dean. The Orchestra will also perform La Montanara, a very well known folk song of the Swiss/Italian region.

This concert will be held in the magnificent and intimate surrounds of The Convent Chapel. Limited capacity so please book early to avoid disappointment.
