Helter Smelter is pleased to present a night of noise complaints this August at Wollongong's

grungiest bar, Rad.

Rising from the ashes of a shitload of bands you probably didn't like anyway are Sydney's

MEAT CAKE. Like bashing your knee on a shitty Camry's towbar, MEAT CAKE fucking hurt.

Wollongong's favourite femmo-rockers Babymachine will provide main support. Working on a

new album and a special EP, these leather-clad, whiskey-drinking women will present some

new shit and probably play some old shit as well.

Last time I saw Cape Tribulation they almost blew a gasket. I mean, quite literally. I'm

surprised the venue is still standing after the sonic assault they produced. Walls shook and

floorboards began to give way under the crushing weight of the riffs.

Opening the night will be Anonymii - playing Wollongong for the first time. Using a floating line-

up, each Anonymii gig is unique, interpreting the songs differently each time. Of course, it'll

probably be the first time you've seen them so it won't make any difference really.
