Chamber pop charmer Max Lawrence is launching his debut single 'Icarus' and bringing his intimate, soaring melodies and lush soundscapes to the stage with a full band for his first ever headline show. 'Icarus' is an open and honest declaration of love, capturing the wide-eyed elation of two young lovers with the world at their feet. With a rich lower range and a feathery falsetto, Lawrence sings about opening up to the beauty of nature, our inner selves and to each other through majestic choruses and dynamic live performance.

His songs also explore darker subject matter complemented with skin-crawling textures and haunting refrains. His musical style is influenced by the likes of Moses Sumney, Perfume Genius and Lana Del Rey.
