Matt Cornell is a talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Finding his true home in country music, Matt takes to the genre's core values with beautifully written new songs and uniquely sublime vocals on his albums. 

Having already established a reputation as an impressively energetic and engaging live performer, who undertakes the rarely seen practice of playing bass while performing lead vocals, the 2014 release of Matt's self-titled album Matt Cornell on September 5, made a very impressive music statement as a recording artist and songwriter.  

Matt has graced the stages of many venues around the world including SXSW in AustinTexas, New York's CBGB's, London's The Borderline and Sheppard's Bush Empire, to <>The Roxy and The Viper Room in LA. 

He has worked and toured with the likes of Richard Clapton, Shannon Noll, Jenny Morris, Damien Leith and iconic rock band The Baby Animals. Currently, Matt is touring with Australian Country superstar and winner of 14 Golden Guitar awards Adam Brand and his 'Get On Your Feet' tour. 

Matt has been warmly welcomed into the country music fold, being a 2014 CMC Music Awards New Oz Artist of the Year finalist, and has been nominated again, this time for Male Artist Of The Year at the 2017 CMC Music Awards. He also enjoyed eight weeks in the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Country Chart as part of Adam Brand & The Outlaws. 

My Soundtrack is Matt's fourth record and second country release, writing and co-writing this album in two months. It is an album for a road-trip; full of positivity, every track has a message with an infectious feel-good nature permeating sound and stories.
