The perennially sharp Mark Ronson is on his way to Australia and will play one very special late night DJ set at the Oxford Art Factory this Wednesday 4 February from 11pm.

A globally celebrated, Grammy award winning super producer, musician and DJ, Ronson has been behind a string of hits by the likes of Lily Allen, Kaiser Chiefs, Adele, Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' and iconic single 'Rehab' to name a few.

Alongside this stellar run of work producing for other artists, Ronson has gained a legendary reputation as a DJ with an encyclopedic, genre-spanning knowledge of music that he uses to killer effect.

Ronson has released four albums, the latest 'Uptown Special' being his most successful yet. With lyrics by Pulitzer-winning American novelist Michael Chabon (with the exception of the single 'Uptown Funk') the album was written and produced with Grammy winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Drake, Alicia Keys) and features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt and others.

The album's triple platinum single 'Uptown Funk' featuring Bruno Mars sat at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart for six weeks. 'Uptown Funk' has also hit #1 in the UK, the US, Billboard Hot 100 and at over 57 iTunes stores around the world. It has had over 75 million streams worldwide to date and is currently holding the #1 place at Spotify globally as well as in Australia, UK, US, Mexico & France. The VEVO video views are now over 112 million.
