Lost in Calcutta at age five and adopted by a Tasmanian family, Saroo Brierley is torn between two worlds when he learns that Google Earth might help him locate the rural Indian village he half-remembers. Saroo must draw on hazy memories of a long-ago train journey, and the support of loved ones in Australia, to find out who he really is. Sunny Pawar is adorable as the infant Saroo, while as adult Saroo, Dev Patel does such a brilliant Australian accent you'd think he was raised here.
