Los Angeles-based trio LANY was formed in 2014 by three friends: Paul Jason Klein, Leslie Priest and Jake Goss. The trio have released three EP's, including their latest Kinda, which includes the smash hit 'WHERE THE HELL ARE MY FRIENDS'. LANY are set to be one of the breakthrough live acts of the summer, clocking up millions of streams online and taking their global tour to Australia for the first time. After a year of playing the world's biggest festivals including Reading and Leeds and Bonnaroo, they have been honing their live set through support slots with Troye Sivan, Ellie Goulding, Halsey and Oh Wonder. 2016 saw LANY play their first headline tour of the US and sold out every show, with the demand to accommodate hooked fans resulting in additional dates and extended rooms. Their show at New York's Soho House saw queues round the block and was attended by fans Sam Smith and Ryan Tedder. One reviewer noted - The relationship between the band especially Paul and the audience transcended the norm; it was one based on clear mutual need. It is the beginning of something big!

It's two years since Pumarosa formed, but you'd be forgiven for thinking they hadn't spent a day apart. Front woman Isabel Mu oz-Newsome and drummer Nicholas Owen started the band by chance. A friend was eager to start a new music project and invited the two to come and play, but said friend never showed up. Instead, the pair were left to lay the foundations of what would become Pumarosa. Labeled by Line of Best Fit as 'Ones to Watch' in 2016, it was a massive year for the London five piece. They went on tour with Glass Animals, released their debut self titled EP, with The Guardian dubbing the band as the missing link between Joy Division and Pendulum. 2017 marks their first trip to Australia and festival slot along aside The Pixies and The Kills in Japan this February.

Live, they give the impression of a band with decades of experience playing together. Strange, interesting and beautiful spaces play a vast part in the bands DNA, whether it's a stirring gig at Shakespeare's Globe, or one of the warehouse parties they played in their early days. It doesn't matter where the stage is - Pumarosa know how to make their mark. Commanding from the front, Isabel throws shapes and bends notes with the same captivating spirit, always finding new places for the band's music to explore and conquer. Bassist Henry Brown and drummer Nicholas seem to share a natural instinct as the rhythm section, while guitarist Jamie Neville and multi-instrumentalist Tomoya Sukuzi explore their own worlds. The latter splits duties between the saxophone, keys, and distorting Isabel's vocals into strange abstractions. Everyone has their own distinct role, and it's incredible to watch unfold.
