Lanie Lane is absolutely delighted to announce that her debut album 'To The Horses' will be released on Ivy League Records on October 14 2011. The album release will be followed by Lanie's first national headline tour through October and November.

Recorded and mixed over a grand total of four days with her band at Ripple Studios in Sydney, the self-produced 'To The Horses' showcases Lanie's amazing voice and song writing talents across 11 fabulous cuts.

For those familiar with her live show, the album contains all the numbers she has been wowing rooms of all shapes and sizes with over the past year. For those unfamiliar, its a dose of proper early rock and roll, skiffle, blues and Australian soul, serving up fantastic tales of love, lust, heartbreak and the importance of a good guitar. Its all delivered by one of the most distinctive voices and charming characters on the circuit.

And now, after spending the past 12 months constantly touring with the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Clare Bowditch, Fitz and The Tantrums and You Am I, Lanie will take the entirely appropriate step of embarking upon her first national headline tour throughout October and November.

Heading out with her cracking band for the very first time with her name at the top of the marquee, these shows promise to be a celebration of Lanies unfettered excitement at her album finally being out in the world.

Last, but by no means least by no means at all Lanie's very first vinyl offering, the 'Aint
Hungry' / 'My Man' single is out NOW. Produced by Jack White, it is released on his Third
Man Records label on beautiful 7" vinyl or for download through iTunes. News on where to
pick up the vinyl in Australia will be with you soon.
